What better way to start the year than with a world exclusive premiere here at Camp Poule. Berlin ensemble JYLDA has already enlightened the last year with their deep pop songs meandering between driving synths and crisp vocals. Here now comes their latest offering, titled very optimistically No Hope.
It’s not all hopeless though, a new year also is a new beginning and underneath the soft production you can actually find the inner struggle between fear and curiosity. 2015 is also the year of a new James Bond movie and picturing a somewhat broken and human Bond, JYLDA might well provide the soundtrack to a slow motion intro sequence of smoke, shapes and shadows.
If you happen to call Berlin home, you might want to catch them playing live at Kaffee Burger January 28 and as part of Songcircle Berlin at Aufsturz February 22.
great voice combined with a great sound … I love it five stars from me
