Winner winner chicken dinner. The charming LCDMF – which is short for Luscious Coconut Milky Double Fudge – are just about to embark on a grand spring tour taking them across Europe. They’ll be playing gigs in Germany and Switzerland before returning to the great Point FMR in Paris this Saturday, March 23rd. Then next week they’ll stop in Hamburg on Tuesday, March 26th (win tickets below – JA!) and Brussels on the weekend. There are loads more dates, find them all nicely listed here.

Attached is their current single featuring DENA – who has just released a single on foxy Parisian label Kitsuné in January. Now and The LCMDFs did some of their first works too with Kitsuné a couple years ago, so maybe that gig at Point FMR is gonna hold some surprises..? Allez, allez mes Parisens.

If you comment on this post you can also throw your hat in the ring for 2×2 tickets for the Hamburg show at Uebel & Gefährlich – auja! Just use a valid email address and submissions close Tuesday 15h00. Fingers crossed!

the colouristHey – pssst! Who’s ready for the weekend? You? But Poule d’Or I hear you say – what should we listen to, which song gets me in that Friday night mood? Well, how about this one by The Colourist..? Hit play and BOOM – weekend. Right there. Their latest gem Little Games is catchyyy catchyness. Powerful.

bmvaRemember when music videos were all new and cool and exciting? When Michael Jackson had a NEW video and you were sitting in front of your TV waiting for it to come on? You probably don’t because those were the 90s. When the internet wasn’t invented and when you weren’t annoyed by people asking you for directions (just googlemap it hellooo!). Anyway, it’s time to cherish the music video as a form of art itself again. Enter: The Berlin Music Video Awards hosted in Villa Neukölln April 24th to 28th.

Now here comes the fun part: the nominees are all based on internet votes. You can submit your own nominees for a range of given categories. You can even submit your own video and with some luck have it voted on in the second round. Submissions close soon though, this Wednesday March 20th, so be quick now. There are a range of prizes for everyone taking part, too! Submit your nominees here.

Then, starting March 24th all nominees can be voted on online. The final winners will then be determined live at the event in Berlin.

total warr loisyFrench electro rockers Total Warr have a brand new EP out. We’re still desperate for a proper full length album from Kiki and Guigui so we’re thoroughly enjoying the bits and pieces that every now and then trickle out of their Parisian headquarters.

Loisy comes with three great and all new tracks. Opened by the fantastic Bambastard featuring Johnny from The Death Set. Check the video for that song, with Kiki’s face on Guigui’s index finger – and all the fun that comes with your index finger having a face of his own.. The other songs are Always Me, a slower ballad track, and a cover of The Pixies’ Where Is My Mind. Loisy is out now – yours for pocket change at bandcamp. Sidibabouéééé-babaoué.

bells atlasGreat inbox treasure this one. Bells Atlas out of Oakland – and they present quite an intriguing Afro-induced indie pop feeling. Attached is the brilliant Loving You Down off their debut EP which is out since Monday, get it here.
