Hoochie mama! Sir Duck House is back on the scene with a handful of releases lined up under his wings. Closer is the newest gem and features his trademark washed out guitar style and laid back disco groove along with his soothing, distinct vocals. And even though you are not supposed to judge no book no album no single by its cover, Duck House’s artwork in its simplicity, colours and setup are just beautiful, pushing the overall feel on this. As did his latest treat Tether.
Both songs come off his new self-titled EP which will be put out by Meno Records. Meanwhile, catch him playing live Nov 30th in Manchester at Columns Festival and 31st in London at Mirrors Festival. It’s festival season in the UK! In November he will be playing Leeds on 2nd and Cardiff on the 6th. Get behind that. Closer is attached below.
