2010 saw some truly great albums released. And some that did not ultimately live up to their -my- expectations, thus leaving the Poule disappointed. Yes. Now these albums are not ‘bad’ per se, they just made you think they could have been much better:

Love French Horn Rebellion and the album is cool, it just feels like a missed opportunity. Could have been so much better.

Two extraordinary singles Cold Dust Girl and Neverest, the rest was pretty meh.

The Drums – The Drums
+
The Drums are amazing, love their Summertime EP. Their album was sadly just an extrapolation of that EP, could have been more maybe. Still good, but it just didn’t stick.

Kid Cudi – Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager

In love with his first album, MOTM2 is average at most. Ratatat is the missing piece here.

What was that?! Raised more questions than it answered really. Digging the artwork though.
I agree – the Fenech Soler album was really boring.
