Electronic delights coming in from France: Bleu Toucan not only sport a killer name for themselves but also a record deal on Jerry Bouthier’s Continental Records. Hardly surprising then that their new EP is an absolute banger, the perfect soundtrack to a drive to the beach as well as a Sunday spent on the couch. Whoa whoa. London feel good rockers Many Things are busy touring the relevant parts of Europe supporting Is Tropical – right in the middle of this extravaganza comes Holy Fire, a new euphoric single accompanied by a beautifully shot video. Holy Fire is the first single off their upcoming debut album Burn Together which will be released this summer on Australian super label Dew Process.

Meanwhile, Holy Fire is out April 20th. And MT and The Is Tropicals are playing Vienna tomorrow March 30, Prague on Tuesday, Berlin on Wednesday April 1st and Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg April 2nd. Team Poule says, that’s a show you do not want to miss. Oddly enough, they’ll be joined by Glass Animals for the Vienna gig. Find all dates here.

Belgian duo Joy Wellboy just announced their sophomore album Wedding will be released world wide May 4th on Bpitch Control – and all you can do is wait for that to happen. Really though? Take action! Take matters in your own hands! Stop the waiting, stop the passiveness. The two will be taking their new songs on a tour starting next month. So if the electronic end of the pop music spectrum, nuanced with RnB and New Wave pitches is up your alley you better put that down in your calendar. Because Joy Adegoke and Wim Janssens play just about every relevant city across this corner of the world. Copenhagen’s Vega April 28th, Hamburg’s Turmzimmer April 29th, Berlin’s Berghain Kantine on May 6th and a whole load of other German cities in between that. Attached is their latest gem I’m Waiting For You off their great upcoming album Wedding: a perfect blend of trip-hop, new wave and a lot of electro pop. Should be a fun show to watch.

Struggling Hearts is out this Monday, March 23, on Antiphonics – and prelude to a new EP to be released later this year. Goldie Chorus say they’d be an uptempo Air with more edgy production – which probably isn’t so wrong. However, on the upcoming EP they showcase a much more diverse, and beautifully crisp produced range of pop music – all under the heavy 80s influence these times have. A great single, and great EP to look forward to on a Scandinavian summer festivals this year.

All around pop sensations Purity Ring and illuminated selves just released their highly anticipated sophomore album Another Eternity on 4AD. Reason enough to take the shiny new baby on a tour around the old continent. The duo is making a stop in Germany next month, playing Cologne April 12th, Berlin 13th, Hamburg on the 21st and finally Munich on the 22nd.
