RoughDaysLAlilleSo, dear internet, how about a remix that is NOT for Icona Pop or by Lucas Nord? No offense. But seriously. Because this, this is f-king spectacular. In fact, it’s so good that they both can get away with their unreasonable band names. Out of control. Luckily, Rough Days For Diamond Trade and UNKWON will both showcase their respective (and numerous) talents in Copenhagen for Trailerpark Festival. Something Team Poule is eagerly waiting for.

They’ll play Rdio Stage with back-to-back gigs on Friday, starting 22h45.

trailerpark_mixtapes-pouledorWho doesn’t like a catchy title? As Team Poule will go to Copenhagen next week to hang around a skatepark and listen to exclusively good music, we were really flattered when esteemed authority in everything Danish, the great Polish music blog Dobre, bo duńskie (Good because Danish) suggested to team up and put together a nice little mixtape for the occasion.

So cheers to Arletta for creating this brilliant 55-minute Trailerpark Festival ride. Absolutely loving the clever intro on it, super cool. You hit play below and read up on track list and everything else over at Good Because Danish – a blog you should consider following more closely. Prime source for good music.

UPDATE: We got picked up for the official Trailerpark Festival mixtape series!

Copenhagen Skatepark. Young, talented musicians from Scandinavia. Three days, three stages, beautiful people. Copenhagen’s Vesterbro neighbourhood will be rocking August 1st to 3rd when the seventh edition of Trailerpark Festival opens its gates. The guys at Art Rebels have once again put together an absolutely phenomenal musical line-up: When Saints Go Machine, Vinnie Who, Rangleklods, MØ, Turboweekend, any so many more rising artists. And it won’t just be good music though, just as many young designers go nuts decorating the festival area. Transforming old trailers into otherworldly hangout places.

It really promises to be a great experience. One of the acts Team Poule is really looking forward to see: Kinck. Stine Kinck is something like the Danish answer to MIA and the Spice Girls.. like a best of both world. Urban electro rap. She released a great EP last year, attached is This Beat. Stream the whole product on Soundcloud. Super good.

Kinck is playing Rdio Stage on Thursday night, 0h15.

MEREKI-PINKCalifornia-based sweet heart Mereki held on tight to her foxy dog and released a new song a couple weeks ago. Blue Lake is pop’y 21st century Spice Girls goodness, first single off her upcoming debut EP. Hit play.

Spektrum 2013: Koreless

spektrumLess than a month til MS Dockville will take over Hamburg with maybe its best line-up in years. Before that one will go down though, its electronic/hip-hop sibling SPEKTRUM will warm-up the venue in Wilhelmsburg. Saturday August 3rd, two stages, young MCs and loads of electro aficionados set the scene for some summer head nodding.

A couple of big names on the line-up, Mount Kimbie, Danny Brown and attached below Koreless: 19-year-old producer from Glasgow, atmospheric tunes at their finest, out on Young Turks roster. Nineteen. Amazing. Tickets for SPEKTRUM are prices at a reasonable 18 euros, grab four for 50 euros. See you there?

eliza-and-the-bearDriving indie rock by London’s talent-heavy Eliza and the Bear. Second single Friends off their upcoming album. Check their impressive festival line-up through out the summer. Gonna make an appearance at Hamburg’s Reeperbahn Festival too – whaaat!
