Super pumped for Trailerpark Festival tomorrow. Been following their instagram updates all week, throwing hearts all over the place like an idiot stalker. Also the weather promises to be peeerfect! So here goes the final pick: Lisa Alma. She is a Copenhagen-native, so this gig should be a home run. Just imagine this: Saturday early afternoon, siesta, the sun is out, trees giving shade. Lisa Alma and a microphone, dreamy pop music, and oh those stellar vocals. Can’t think of many better ways to start a Saturday.

No doubt the one act Team Poule is most excited for at Trailerpark Festival this week: CTM. Not only is Cæcilie Trier a Copenhagen-native, she also calls one of the most beautiful voices her own and released a rad and new debut EP earlier this year. So, playing in front of her home crowd will certainly be a special moment. Attached is Jewel off her fantastic debut, out on Tambourhinoceros Records.
CTM will play Royal Stage on Friday 20h00.

Another favorite playing in Copenhagen next week: Zulu Pearls. Not only is that a killer name for a band, the DC-native based in Berlin also released a great album titled No Heroes No Honeymoon in February. Quite wordsmith-y. On top of that he (they?) delivers highly enjoyable surfy 60’s pop with a modern dreamy pinch. Super good.

Another fantastic gem coming out of Denmark’s vibrant music scene: Dinner. Anders Rhedin sports a dark voice floating around spectacular soundscapes. The Buddhism aficionado recently released his debut EP titled Girl, stating “Thank you for listening to my songs. They’re all about girls. And destruction. The Divine Feminine.” Who couldn’t relate to that?
Dinner will be a must-see gig at this year’s Trailerpark Festival in Copenhagen, playing Rdio Stage on Saturday 22h15.

New York four-piece Black Light Dinner Party rolled another big one.. I Was Right smoothly tangles around this hot summer’s night. The group will have a debut album titled Sons & Lovers out on September 24th – electro slash synth pop at its finest.
