How come two drummers always make up for a great sound – this is Glass from Copenhagen and they are no different. Casually drumming it up on their first single Screams. Also, they’ll be playing Spot Festival in Aarhus this May, and Team Poule is going so thisss is making for a pretty good Sunday soundtrack. So Team Poule signed up on the Tinder app today – and it is a tiny bit freaky on there. I mean I’m sure that most of what’s happening on there is fake. But at the same time it is awkwardly entertaining. It’s a bit like listening through your Soundcloud feed and skipping, skipping, following. You know.

Anyway, enter [tweetable hashtag=”#pouledor”]Eutony: the Tinder app of bands.[/tweetable] They show up writing they just started out as a band, writing songs, recording in a garage and so on and so on and I’m sitting here listening and thinking yeah right, you don’t fool me for a seconddd. Because this ONE song they have out right now does not sound like that at all. Spectrum is a great indie rock song, it’s properly produced and even the band pictures are obviously carefully choreographed. I’m intrigued Eutony – if you are who you say you are.

Now this is some seriously good music we have trapped under our paws here. Quiet Days is the latest gem coming out Luka’s dreamy laboratory. Now and Luka is somewhat of a phenomenon. Says here he is from Hamburg and that he plays (played?) in a band whose music by Team Poule’s personal experience is a whole lot less exciting. So, this is Luka breaking free. Or something.

Now and if you happen to call Hamburg home and if you have been into the whole chillwave thing from the beginning and the name Blackbird Blackbird rings a bell, then make sure you go see both of them sharing the stage on February 25th at the new Kleiner Donner venue, former III&70 basement. They cleaned up the whole place and put wood on the wall. All info here.

Seriously?! I was all pumped up to share this great track along with some very thoughtful and witty words but typing their name with all these hyphen hyphen hyphen just now totally ruined the vibe. Am I impulsive? Maybe. Is it because this track was playing while writing this? Possibly. Did this post turn out the way it was supposed to? Definitely not. However Naives – seriously can’t be effed with all those — are sort of a love child of We Have Band and Is Tropical and I don’t know, maybe Friendly Fires, but aren’t they in everything now these days. Either way, this song is a great song. I need a cigarette and I do not even smoke.

So, and Naives will also play some shows next month: Barcelona, Firenze, Bologna, Paris (twice) and London. Now this right there is a road trip I wouldn’t say no to. I reckon those will be some fun shows.

One of our favorites Goodbye Chanel have put together a new song and just today served it to the masses. Foreva nicely continues where the five-piece left off last year with their epic debut, a sort of tropical dream pop that tickles your plumage. Right at the sweet spot. Come on spring, we’re ready.
