bravestation-by-mike-dunnRed hot new tunes from Toronto – our favorites Bravestation have released a new song titled All We Have Is Us just now, like right now, in anticipation of their new EP IV which will be out May 14th. If you happen to be in Toronto May 15th, join them and celebrate the occasion at The Drake Hotel.

All We Have Is Us neatly continues where they left off on their debut album last year: smooth riffs, warm vocals and this fine underlying electronic production that adds the trademark Bravestation flow to it all.

aawallaceFine electronic production with a pop twist coming our way from Halifax, East Canada. AA Wallace formerly fronted the band Sleepless Nights and after they disbanded in 2011 he started writing and recording solo material moving from the garage rock genre into the realms of experimental electronic music. There is video too!

His debut album (disambiguation) will be out May 6th via Arcadian Embassy. In support of this he’ll be in the UK playing The Great Escape. Go see that man.

Ohne TitelDenmark, land of perfection. Cozy social system, more bike than car lanes and beautiful people – everywhere! Enter: Dinner, one-eyed hipster from Copenhagen. But Anders Rhedin isn’t just easy on the eye(s). His dark voice evolving around pop soundscapes: spectacular.

Coincidentally, Dinner has a new EP coming out – tomorrow. And if you happen to be in Berlin tomorrow, celebrate the occasion with him and our friends of No Fear of Pop and Nordic by Nature.

crystal fightersDoes Team Poule have a favorite band? Yes: Crystal Fighters. Insanely pumped for their new album Cave Rave to come out, May 27th. New songs keep trickling out, this is You & I. The lads are exceptionally spectacular live on stage, see them celebrating the release of Cave Rave in London at KOKO, May 23rd – Team Poule will go, see you there? Check their other dates too, there are loads of them: world tour.

long way to alaskaThese guys hail from the beautiful country that is Portugal – and it is in fact a Long Way To Alaska (open goal!). Then again, isn’t it always a long way to Alaska? It’s never really on your way to anywhere is it. However, these four lads already have quite a backing on their home turf and are releasing a brand new EP April 29th. Four songs, all kind of folk’ish nice. It’s the video though that instantly put a smile on our faces here at Poule HQ – way to cheer a team up guys!

Life Aquatic will be out through PAD. Do check that video too though.

california-1936Happiness in a song is this latest single by the amazing Work Drugs. Just perfect. Pure and smooth. You cannot not like this. Double negative – doing it. Why you want to run forever?
