A delicate ballad of a song coming in by the talented Jeannel out of Berlin via Cologne. Karma is her latest and comes wrapped in hazy footages, attached below, at your convenience. The track is a glimpse into her debut EP titled Love to be released on the infamous Better Call Rob, with co-producers Tamer Fahri, of Dillon and Lafawnda fame, and Christian Prommer, of Fauna Flash fame.

If you are thinking, well this all sounds very nice but where can I see her play live? You are in luck. Jeannel will be part of a Red Bull event of all events in Berlin, Sept. 19.

A refreshing wave of summer vibes coming out of South London by YKN, a collective of artists and musicians. For the project Yukon, which is basically “Charlie, Marcus, Pete and anyone who comes to our house”, they promised to release a new song for every month of the year, with exhibit June attached below. The group emphasizes the holistic approach of Yukon as an audio-visual pairing, so spare your time trying to locate them on Spotify or SoundCloud.

Good Conversation then smoothly picks up a dreamy indie pop drive and instantly gets into your ear. The somewhat un-credited video co-op takes you on a solo visual journey up the shore, celebrating the joy of having a proper chat every once in a while. Their July piece will be out next week.

Let Danish singer and Toronto-resident Lisa Bregneager take you on a stationary road trip for her new single False Direction. The track comes as a heads-up, a test drive if you will, to her upcoming new album Holy Flavor, due September 7. Which frighteningly, is a lot closer than it sounds.

False Direction neatly combines her distinct sense for a carrying melody, lush beats and her trademark vocals doing all the tricks. And it all comes wrapped in washed out footage, by Canadian singer Michelle Gurevich and Lisa herself, perfect soundtrack to summer heatwaves, wherever you are.

Make sure to also check her more driving, mind you, last single Losing It.

Team Freedom Fry out of Los Angeles have recently dropped their highly and ever anticipated debut album titled Classic. It comes as a lovely collection of their accumulated talents over the years, a unique mix of folky freedom and flashing disco lights. They took the occasion to give their hit single Classic a remixed version, adding a bit of a summer vibe and upbeat feel to it. Just in time for France winning another World Cup, sacré bleu.

Classic, the album, is out now, wherever you buy or stream your albums these days. Also, if you happen to be in LA, the group will be playing The Bloc (DTLA) Thursday next week, July 26th.

The Canadian trio of Eirik, Colton and Matthew naturally goes by the name of Teak Physique and had a jangly debut out in April on Resurrection Records, titled Living. Space. The whole piece has been more or less recorded live off the floor which adds a raw feeling to it all, smooth. It was recorded and mixed in Vancouver by Mint Records artist, Jay Arner, and resulted in four tracks of pure drums, driving guitars and folky vocals, with evidence in the shape of their new single Blond Wig attached below.

The group has a few shows lined up in Vancouver too, so catch them either at Stylus Records on July 21, Fortune Sound Club on July 25, or Black Lab July 27th. Quite the trifecta eh?

Pure and honest gaze coming in from the little indie hub that is Argentina. Ural Mountains has been around for a while and is said to be an expat Frenchman, yet still remains somewhat of a mystery. However, Hypnotic is his latest single and not just that, a dreamy, DIY type lo fi tune, ready to lose yourself in. Find matching visuals attached below, alongside the promise of an LP titled Blurry Pictures due this month.
