Wangel---Jonas-Jensen-3 (1)Peter Wangel and Kasper Ejlerskov Leonhardt are back for another tease and burn. You Got To Say It Loud came out last week on Playground Music and gives a taste of their upcoming – and highly anticipated – debut album titled Freedom which will be out sometime this spring. Actually cannot wait to hear what they came up with. You Got To Say It Loud leaves you hungry for more and is attached below. Team Poule says, take it away Wangel.

HUNCK (1)Yesterday British royals Hunck released their debut EP Never Had A Dream and the four songs are among the finest collection of indie type tracks that you will likely have heard in a while: a dense set of dreamy riffs and warm vocals sporting that rough english vibe right underneath, giving it a distinct Hunck feeling. Really a stellar debut, actually making it both rad and new.

Best yet, the EP comes with this charming flamboyance of flamingos for one of the greatest artworks, by the legend Babak Ganjei. Attached below is the banging opening track I’ll Wait, which really puts you in the driver seat for whatever task you are up against. Ace track. Hunck will be playing the Waiting Room in London next Wednesday, Feb 3rd. The EP out now, in the usual places. Team Poule says hell yes!

interstate_80_santa_cruz-(1) (1)In an attempt to get the ever intangible world of new music under control, Team Poule has put together a little playlist to serve your very own Sunday-needs. So all you need to do now, really, is make yourself comfortable, hit play, and enjoy hot and fresh tunes making your eardrums vibrate in a very pleasing way.

Now, and who knows. This might even become a full-on series so stay tuned to the relevant Soundcloud outlet. This one features stellar tracks by Hamburg locals Gatwick, by October Glow, Viigo, Norway’s Kakkmaddafakkas latest, The Work Drugs, Native People and really, many more. Hit play right here, it’s the orange button with a white triangle inside.

JYLDA_Cruel-Machine_Premiere_PressphotoProudly premiering this new joint by Berlin’s JYLDA today. Cruel Machine is one of those songs that make all the older tracks sound much smaller all of a sudden. The composition, the slow build-up, the bang, the production, and of course those vocals. She started out little over two years ago and has taken quite the development since. Out of a sort of ambient electronic corner, Cruel Machine now is truly a grand pop track, reminiscent of the elegance of the greatest as well as fresh, original and modern. The single will be out this Friday, January 15 on Æolis Records.

And there is more to come. A new EP or album are said to come along nicely, and there will be a handful of live dates so look out. February 13th will see her play Hamburg’s fine Pony Bar alongside old pals The Very First Teenager and Muutes. In the meantime, hit play on this. Photo by Michael Dooney.

Who knew good things could come from taking MØ off a song? Sway Clarke went there and did just that on his latest track which came out only a few days ago. Lean On is a trademark track by Sway Clarke, carried by his powerful vocals that leave you hungry for more. Luckily he announced the release of a whole 90s inspired cover-EP along with it, out by the end of this month.

Now, and this voice of his only really comes to full effect when given a live ear. Face to face so to speak. Germans are once again in luck as Mr. Clarke will be taking his voice and a range of new songs on an acoustic tour through Deutschland starting January 20 in Cologne, then off to Gießen, Wiesbaden, Darmstadt, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf and Berlin. Find all dates here.

Be_Forest.2.1Warm sounds and a bit of a sunny blur are just what you need around this time of the year. Luckily Italian quartet Be Forest got a few of those bangers up their sleeves. The group hails from Pesaro right on the Adriatic coast line and released their debut LP titled Cold in 2011 and the sweet dreamy follow-up Earthbeat almost two years ago. Now, next week they will be playing Groningen’s Eurosonic festival alongside a handful of European dates taking them through France, Luxemburg and Germany. And just in time they revealed a handy new single titled Glow – which is attached below at your convenience and out on Coward Records January 22nd.

Catch them in Nancy and Paris before they hit Eurosonic and in Luxemburg and Germany afterwards, electrified. They will play Hamburg’s renovated Astra Stube on January 15th, then Göttingen, Berlin and Dresden. Find all dates here.
