What was initially thought of as a studio concern became a live band in the summer of 2006 when Arni and Loa performed an art opening in a cave in the Faeroe Islands. Later that year Arni Vilhjalmsson and Orvar Th. Smarason joined the band. In October 2006 they played their first full concert at the Iceland Airwaves festival in Reykjavik.” – Myspace

I have been listening to Airship’s Myspace page for way too long. It seems like Manchester is effortlessly producing great bands. Just like that. Plop, Egyptian Hip Hop. Plop, Delphic. Plop, Airship. Bullet & Snowfox are Kristen Wagner and Josh Shapiro from Los Angeles. I quote them here: “Bullet & Snowfox was born in a quaint West Hollywood café in the late summer of 2008.
