Drew Harris aka Germany Germany released his second full-length album ELECTROLOVE today! Available for download (free) on distorteddisco.com. The album features once again vocals by the incredibly talented singer Jessica Morgan. If you have been sleeping on GermanyGermany, you better ask yourself why and read this to know who I’m talking about. And you should totally get his other stuff too if you haven’t already because it’s awesome!
Last friday the yet fifth Petit Bateau x Kitsuné Maison en Vrai label night took place at the Nouveau Casino club in Paris. I couldn’t resist. First band on stage were Fenech-Soler, they were pretty cool, followed by Hurts who kinda disappointed with a very reserved, very cool almost anemic performance. Still good though. Final and main act were the swedish electro synthpoppers Slagsmalsklubben. They were insane. The crowd was going nuts, shouting SMK SMK SMK, a Kitsuné teddybear flew through the air and at one point there were more people stage diving than actually in the crowd. Absolutely fantastic. And they played for almost 40 minutes.
Tanlines are one of those bands who sound entirely different on proper headphones.. just great.
