CocknBullKid’s original “One Eye Closed” is sweetly sung electro-pop with a garage rock edge. Jakwob has a history of brewing those kinds of bouncy tracks into new fuel for the dance floor, he’s given her track an extra thump, but keeps it just as pearly as it was before the rerub.

5. Museum Of Bellas Artes – Watch The Glow // Finally a new track from the swedish girly trifecta. It’s only their second song and what a brilliant one it is! 6. Young Liars – Colours (Teen Daze Remix) // Young Liars are really exciting. Colours surfaced back in June and like many other tracks this summer it wasn’t safe from being Teen Dazed. Good. So I got this e-mail last week from Thomas in which he sent me his latest EP Durande. At first I thought, gah not another chillwave artist, but if you allow it to grow, it’s much more than that and pretty spectacular. Well, spectacular might give you the wrong impression because his minimal pop sound doesn’t really jump right at you. Which is a beautiful thing. His production doesn’t follow a specific pattern and the melodies just seem to develop while you listen to them, kinda chillwave-jazz I guess. Jazzwave. Deruchette’s EP serves just the right soothing soundtrack to the Poule lying around at home, in his nest if you will, fighting the flu.
