dear_tracksI’m just glad we got to see each other, talk and re-meet each other, save a place in heaven ’til the next time we meet forever. No, this is not a Jay-Z rework. Nothing but moments of honesty coming in from Dear Tracks out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, by way of Sweden’s Drömljud Records though. Pure riffs and crooning vocals that give you the goose bumps and make you want to get in a car drive off into the sunset. Look out for more, this is gold.

bravestationForever band crush Bravestation out of Toronto broke the silence and released a hot new track last week. Haven is as pure and great as they are and comes with a warm promise of an EP to be out on Culvert Music next month. It’s April and spring is just around the corner, lurking underneath every breeze of air, shadows are getting shorter again and the light gently stays a few minutes longer every day. Haven is that song.

hanne_kolstoHow is this for a Poule d’Or easter egg? Norwegian sensation Hanne Kolstø is playing the new old Molotow Bar in Hamburg April 8th, which is Wednesday next week. And the Poule wouldn’t be the Poule if we hadn’t saved two tickets for our lovely readers in holiday spirits. All you need to do to win these two bad boys is comment on this post and tell us your favorite Hanne Kolstø song. The lucky winner will be picked Monday night, 8pm CET.

Attached below is her latest gem, Forever Maybe off her fourth album of the same name. Seemingly effortlessly whipping the llama’s ass. Make sure to also catch her energetic live set in Berlin April 10th, Cologne the 13th, Munich the 14th and a couple more German dates, all nicely listed here.

bleu_toucanElectronic delights coming in from France: Bleu Toucan not only sport a killer name for themselves but also a record deal on Jerry Bouthier’s Continental Records. Hardly surprising then that their new EP is an absolute banger, the perfect soundtrack to a drive to the beach as well as a Sunday spent on the couch. Imagine/Easy To Find follows their debut release titled Salade De Fruits and is out now. Looking for a spring soundtrack – Bleu Toucan have got you covered.

Whoa whoa. London feel good rockers Many Things are busy touring the relevant parts of Europe supporting Is Tropical – right in the middle of this extravaganza comes Holy Fire, a new euphoric single accompanied by a beautifully shot video. Holy Fire is the first single off their upcoming debut album Burn Together which will be released this summer on Australian super label Dew Process.

Meanwhile, Holy Fire is out April 20th. And MT and The Is Tropicals are playing Vienna tomorrow March 30, Prague on Tuesday, Berlin on Wednesday April 1st and Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg April 2nd. Team Poule says, that’s a show you do not want to miss. Oddly enough, they’ll be joined by Glass Animals for the Vienna gig. Find all dates here.

joywellboyBelgian duo Joy Wellboy just announced their sophomore album Wedding will be released world wide May 4th on Bpitch Control – and all you can do is wait for that to happen. Really though? Take action! Take matters in your own hands! Stop the waiting, stop the passiveness. The two will be taking their new songs on a tour starting next month. So if the electronic end of the pop music spectrum, nuanced with RnB and New Wave pitches is up your alley you better put that down in your calendar. Because Joy Adegoke and Wim Janssens play just about every relevant city across this corner of the world. Copenhagen’s Vega April 28th, Hamburg’s Turmzimmer April 29th, Berlin’s Berghain Kantine on May 6th and a whole load of other German cities in between that. They were also confirmed to play Melt Festival this summer. Find all dates and venues nicely listed here.

Attached is their latest gem I’m Waiting For You off their great upcoming album Wedding: a perfect blend of trip-hop, new wave and a lot of electro pop. Should be a fun show to watch.
