WOW.
YAY!! Germany Germany is back with his first official video. It’s made from clips of Sixteen Candles, a super rad 80s movie. Moon is from his upcoming release entitled ‘Radiowave’. Raaaad!! Can’t. Wait. Literally flapping impatiently around.
Not a new band. Although that would be a rad name, right? Kinda personal request, the Poule will be taking a few days off next month and flap through major cities in Europe: Zurich, Vienna, Berlin and Stockholm are on the agenda. Any suggestions what to check out, where to go, concerts, cafés, bars? Any advice is welcome!
Wow, Young Empires extend their streak of producing genuinely brilliant music. Last time the Poule felt its plumage tickling like that was when it first heard Two Door Cinema Club.. and you know how that turned out.. exciting!!! Young Empires’ latest treat Against The Wall is up on Bigstereo and comes with a video:

They also announced a small world tour taking them to the UK, the United States, Canada and Columbia… I pray to god your city has been selected..
Last demo track was this joint: BRILLIANT!

The great ‘Rain Of Gold’ can be found on the infamous Poule d’Or Compilation 3.
Poule’s parisienne friend Camille from Le Charivari met the guys recently and has conducted a nice interview: Entretien avec Young Empires

What a pleasant surprise in Poule’s inbox: Moscow Youth Cult. Very enjoyable electronica from England with a slight ‘chillwavey’ touch. Laid-back, just the right tunes for a summer night by the pool. Their sound doesn’t jump right at you, which the Poule finds rather pleasing. The attached 4-track EP covers a variety of sounds, its all very promising ..
