Mike Shindler, Donne Torr, Benny Schutze, Sean Tyson, Dave Vertesi and Kevin Fairbairn from Vancouver invite you to join their Top Less Gay Love Tekno Party. Probably the best band name you’ll ever encounter! They hung out with The Lab Magazine recently and recorded a special live acoustic session of their song Polar Bears. Good thing they brought a camera, so you can watch their beautiful performance (and make-up). Germany Germany’s double releases Radiowave / Last Summer are out for about a month now and I still can’t take my ears off them. Radiowave is his first commercial release. Besides the epic title track, which premiered on Poule d’Or 3 in May, I really dig the somewhat dark and fast-paced I Can’t Be.

I’m Not A Band is an electronic outfit hailing from Berlin. Stephan and Kassandra engage in danceable and electronic clubsound underlining the essential and mood directing elements: the violins and the vocals. Yup, they both play the violin. Crazy is the first single to drop out of their upcoming album Electrolin, due on January 14th 2011. The single EP, including 5 remixes by MMMatthias, Jumping Jack Flash, Tonspender, Alle Farben and Rampue will be out on ADP Records on November 26th. Fierce Creatures are Mike Adame, Mathr Collom, Tomas Galvan, Joel Melton, Jon Rulloda, Nathaniel Stiers and Amanda Valdez from Fresno in Caaaaalifoooarrrrniaa (read in bad austrian accent). They started making music together in the summer of 2009 when -quoting Nathaniel here- “the band came together to build a fresh identity, free of limitations, focused on the joy of undiluted music” to “reinterpret musical conventions and pursuing a song wherever it leads”. Powerful words. They self-released their self-produced debut EP entitled I Mostri Feroci in July this year. It can be yours for 5 bucks at bigcartel. They are currently working on a full-length album to be released next summer. “Keep your eyes and ears peeled”.
