Multi talent and all around Norwegian delight Sandra Kolstad just released her already third studio album on Red Eye Transit this week. Zero Gravity State Of Mind is not only the very sexy name of that album but also the title of the single attached below. A track as catchy as the autumn flu going around these days, except in a good way, of course.

Lady Kolstad is only part time lounging around in ivy leaves these days though – furthermore, she has a range of exciting live dates lined up: playing Hamburg October 13th, Leipzig the 14th and Berlin’s Urban Spree on the 16th – where the lili pads of Nordic by Nature will be spinning some tunes too. Now that is something you could see yourself interested in.

Get out your oven gloves, put on the tin foil hat, take cover, here comes a big one, a match up made in heaven: Beat Connection take on electro soul poppers Jungle. As smooth as it gets and red hot new. Beat Connection are busy working on a new album, having released this beauty last month. In the meantime catch them in California next week and up the West coast in December – while Jungle will be busy touring Europe next month. Oh Mamma!

Apart from the very stupid name Cut Underscore, this is actually quite an intriguing and nice project. The duo from Amsterdam has a new EP out and its six tracks are trip hop’ish delights. Attached is the total Ohrwurm Papaoutai – a very nice rework of Stromae’s classic.

Team Poule’s latest Danish crush goes by the name of Striving Vines and has just released a fantastic new album. Obstacles comes after their debut from 2011 and is a collection of ten great indie pop’ish song, with a distinct Danish delight underneath. Warm riffs and melodies that only Scandinavia seems to be able to produce.

Eeek – our favorite Summer Heart has stepped out of his little lab and presented the world today with a new song Sleep, presumably off his upcoming album. Happiness in a song. It really is amazing to see the development from his first single Please Stay back in 2011 to this one now. While still in the same, distinct Summer Heart vibe, it sounds more mature and very sort of aware .. if that makes any sense. It really is amazing. Salute!

Also Team Summer Heart will be playing a couple of headline shows starting Monday in Ghent, then London on Tuesday and on to Birmingham, Bristol, etc, all the way up to Dublin. And back to Sweden and Helsinki. Really, there is a show for everyone. Find all dates nicely listed here.
