What’s left of 2009

2009 presented us avid listeners with some really enjoyable albums and at the beginning of each new calendar it’s common habit to take one nostalgic look back and re-capture the greatest additions to our iTunes libraries in various best-of rosters. The new year however quickly produces fresh music waiting to be discovered and only few of the just-praised actually make it through the next summer proving their intrinsic values. These 6 pieces of art still rotate frequently on the Poule’s record player and are hence worth being listed in a best-of list that is concluded with the needed distance and judgment to safely say: those are the albums that made the difference in 2009! Is Tropical will be performing for a live webcast next Tuesday 5th October at 9PM. It will recorded at the Roundhouse studios in London as part of the Black Box Sessions. It will be the first ever online broadcast to use thermal imaging cameras only, so it’s going to be one not to be missed.
