Ahh – semi dropped the ball on this. Little Daylight sent around this banging track of theirs last week and expectedly it sort of went through the roof. Up and out. Great song. So, from the top of the hypem-charts > here goes Little Daylight. Overdose. Sing along.
Baby-indie-rock coming our way from Britain – Blaenavon this trio from Hampshire all age around 16, BABIES you hear! However, they seem to know pretty well what they’re doing. Got this single coming out it in March, check it’s b-side Denim Patches too on Soundcloud.
Great inbox treasure this – Paradise. Sort of a retro pop feel to it, with a pinch of folk. Spring time music. It’s the solo project of LA-based Nedelle Torrisi who used to play in Sufjan Stevens’ band. And this track below I Love Thousands Every Summer is played and produced by the infamous Kenneth Gilmore who as you might recall keeps close ties with Ariel Pink.. So, but enough with the name dropping because really Paradise does speakwell enough for herself.
More name dropping in her press kit though: Apparently she is good friends with Dev Hynes who plays on her upcoming record too. How about HER address book?!
So, my band of 2012 Sameblod have released a new instrumental track called Tres yesterday – loving everything sameblod, so this one has been on repeat at Poule HQ since. Hit play and untz untz away. And also get their phenomenal debut album Braided Memos.
